Event Description.
Glitz! Glamor! Fame! Mech Mayhem!
The Solaris Challenge Cup, presented by Maryland Battletech Brigade and hosted by Gamers-Corps Games, offers exciting Classic Battletech mech combat in the fighting arenas of Solaris 7, the game world. The Solaris challenge will be played as a 12-week league.

Games will be played on a biweekly basis - called “Sessions.” For each successive 2-week period/session, your stable will earn more wealth allowing you to purchase additional mechs and improve pilots’ skills. There will be one game per session with pairings after the first week determined through a swiss style matching. Players in this league participate as a stable, gaining (or losing) Fame and Wealth based on showmanship, battlefield savvy, and experience while participating in combat, sponsorship, and stable management.

Each participant will have 4,000 BV2 to purchase at least two mechs to start out. During the games, players may collect additional support points by scoring on flashy moves that make the crowd go wild!!

At the end of the six sessions, a playoff between the top four finishers will be held to determine the overall champion!
