Product Details
Entry per player is $25. Doors open at 8 am. Use external link to register and enter Army List on BCP.
**Missions:**
Layouts 1, 2, 4.
Round 1. Take and Hold. Tipping Point. (Mission A)
Round 2. Scorched Earth. Search and Destroy. (Mission K)
Round 3. Purge the Foe. Crucible of Battle. (Mission M)
**Round Time**
10 minutes of pregame. This covers list overview and terrain setup.
Each round will be 2:45 minutes of game time.
**List Comp**
-1000 points per player. Rule of 2 for datasheets that are not battleline or dedicated transports.
-Army rules do not cross over between players unless all keywords are met. ***Example-*** a Chaos Space Marine stratagem cannot be used on an Aeldari unit, even though it might contain the phrase “a unit in your army,” etc.
-"Buffs" must also be kept within a player's army. Or have all the correct keywords. Example: a chapter master cannot give out his buff to the player's partner's units unless they match the
keyword.
-Designer Commentary is taken as rules intent and is in play. If you don't know, please read through relevant faqs and errata on the Warhammer Community website, and check both the faq and downloads tab. https://www.warhammer-community.com/faqs/

At the event, when a judge is needed please call for one. The first response of a judge will always be "Show me the rule in question in the relevant source," ie. Codex, core rules, FAQ. Digital sources are allowed, excluding the Battlescribe app, as it is riddled with errors and paraphrasing.
**ARMY CONSTRUCTION**
-A team is composed of 2 separate 1000-point rosters.
-Each player must use the current rules for army construction at 1000 points.
-Each Player has a Warlord & both Warlords count as such on the table for all rules purposes.
-Epic heroes cannot be duplicated
-Each player adds their own forces CP to the team's starting total once the game starts.
-The team only generates CP as a single army would under normal circumstances.
-The team is considered “friendly” for rules purposes. Any ability, stratagem, psychic power, etc., that has the appropriate keywords can affect both players' units.
-See FAQ section (below) for ruling on new “grotmas” detachments
Please submit army list through BCP NLT 11:59 pm, 16 October 2025.
**HOW TO SCORE**
-Please download the Best Coast Pairings.
-Points will be entered into the Best Coast Pairings by the players.
-Each Team will select ONE Team Captain and put (Capt) after their Name on BCP.
-Unfortunately, there is no “team name” currently, so feel free to use the “team/club” line in BCP to represent your unique team name.
-Please fill out any scorecards with your captain's name, NOT the “team name”.
-You will need to hand in sportsmanship scores each round.
**AWARDS**
Tag Team Champions, AKA “BEST OVERALL”
**Event FAQ.** This will be added to over time as people ask more questions, balance sheets released, etc. LVO 2025 is upon us and will provide a lot of feedback from the Long War Doubles Tournament. We will utilize the feedback below.
***Individual signups “mercs”. *** If you do not have a partner, we will pair you with another merc day of. If the individual joins the Gamers-Corps discord, we can help facilitate this better prior to the event.
***Proxies.*** We don't care. As long as the base size is correct, and the hobby effort is there, it’s fine. Just don't use dollar store trash toys.
***Using the same faction. *** Players may use the same faction as usual, and use the Grotmas detachment, however detachment rules must be kept contained to the individual player’s army.
***For rules crossing over between detachments. *** Stratagems may not be crossed over, even if they might apply, this is because some stratagems were deemed too strong when used on units with a different detachment rule as a base.
***Death Guard contagions. *** Ally units can benefit from DG contagions but not create them, if both players are playing DG, both must use the same contagion, no double contagion stacking.
***Thousand Suns’ cabal points. *** If both players are using thousand suns, cabal points are separate pools for each player and are spent individually on their forces only.
***Space Marines. *** Oath of Moment, Non SM allies cannot benefit from OoM. If both players are taking SM, you may only select a single oath target, unless you field Guilliman. Only one Guilliman can be taken into a duo. If both players are using Space Marines, but one player is using one of the excluding keyword forces, like Space Wolves, that player cannot benefit from the +1 to wound on Oath of Moment. The excluded keywords are: Black Templars, Dark Angels, Space Wolves, Blood Angels, and Deathwatch.
***Votann.*** Ruthless Efficiency. As stipulated in the rule, for Incursion games you may select two enemy units. If BOTH players on a team are using Votann, you may select 4 targets, but the CP gained is capped at 3/2/1 to avoid any game breaking situations.
***GSC.*** New Cult Ambush. At Incursion level, a GSC player gets 6 Resurgence points. If both players on a team play GSC, keep separate Resurgence Points. Resurgence Points can only be used on units from their respective detachment.
***World Eaters.*** If both players are playing World Eaters, when making a blessing of khorne chart roll, make a single roll for the player duo, and pick as normal, those 2 blessing apply to the entire combined army. Other rules apply, such as a banner unit on an objective granting a die reroll. For The Blood God stratagem cannot be doubled up. If played, the extra blessing applies to the combined pair of armies.
Vessels of Wrath detachment. Use incursion rules. If both players are using Vessels of Wrath, choose 4 models, but it must be spread 2 for each player.
FAQ section will be updated, if need be, prior to the start of the tournament. Please field any questions on clarity in the Gamers-Corps discord. We are currently comparing this format against the recent balance sheet update to ensure there is balance and synergy.
